Hello, my name is Megan.

Megan launched her online presence in 2018 with the creation of the Instagram account @sayimafoodie and a corresponding blog. What started as a personal space for sharing cooking, recipes, and food experiences transformed into a part-time role as a food influencer in the Bay Area and Atlanta. Megan specializes in producing video and photo content for restaurants and creating recipes for various food brands.

In 2019, Megan's life took an unexpected turn with a diagnosis of Hashimoto’s thyroiditis. This led her to adopt a gluten-free diet to manage the condition, inspiring her to pursue a career in dietetics. Her goal is to share evidence-based nutrition and promote a healthy gluten-free lifestyle.

Megan graduated from the University of California, Berkeley, in 2022 with a B.S. in Nutrition Science–Dietetics and completed Emory Hospital’s dietetic internship program in 2023. She is now a registered dietitian working in the Atlanta area.
